Reservation of Funds

If you pay with an international payment card, the amount will be reserved immediately. The funds will be reserved on your card or account until:

  1. We charge the amount when we ship the item, or
  2. The funds are released according to the agreement with your card issuer.

You can read more about the rules for your specific card from your card issuer.

We do not charge card fees.
(Note that fees may still be charged for cards issued outside the EU)

The amount will only be charged to your card when the item is shipped.


Shipping

We ship with PostNord.

Shipping prices may change over time and depend on destination, package size, and applicable carrier rates. Updated shipping information is available on the PostNord website.


Delivery Areas & Restrictions

We currently deliver to Denmark, EU countries, and selected international destinations.

Please note:

  • Delivery to remote islands and non-bridged islands may require additional delivery time.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders to countries where shipping is unavailable or excessively costly.
  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees outside the EU are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

  • Denmark: 1–3 business days
  • EU countries: 3–7 business days
  • Rest of the world: 5–14 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary during busy periods, holidays, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control. 

Every order is carefully prepared by a small one-woman business. Because of this, production and shipping times may occasionally vary. Thank you for your understanding and support.


Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping with us.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive your item.

This means you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can send an email to mail@sanneburmester.com or use the standard withdrawal form found at the bottom of these terms and conditions.

You cannot cancel the purchase simply by refusing delivery without also notifying us.


Returns

Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to return the item to us.

You are responsible for the return shipping costs, and you are liable if damage occurs during transport.


No Right of Withdrawal

The following agreements cannot be cancelled:

  • Delivery of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized
  • Agreements for urgent repair or maintenance work requested specifically by you

Condition of the Item When Returned

If the item has lost value because you used it in a way other than what was necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning, you may only receive a partial refund or not at all. The amount refunded depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases this may mean that only the initial shipping costs are refunded.


Refund of the Purchase Amount

If you cancel your purchase, you will receive your money back. If the item has decreased in value, we will deduct the amount for which you are liable.

We will refund the shipping cost but not return shipping

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item unless you provide documentation proving that the item has been returned.

Complaints

When you shop with us as a consumer, the provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply.

This means you have a 24-month warranty right.

If your complaint is justified, you may have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

You must submit your complaint within a “reasonable time” after discovering the defect. If you complain within two months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

If the complaint is justified, we will reimburse your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Remember to obtain proof of postage so we can reimburse your shipping costs.

When returning the item, please include a detailed description of the problem.

If you are acting as a business customer, we reserve the right to remedy defects, for example through repairs, instead of replacements.


Complaints Procedure

If you wish to complain about your purchase as a consumer, please contact mail@sanneburmester.com. If we are unable to find a solution, you may submit a complaint to:

To file a complaint, the product or service must have cost at least DKK 1,110 and no more than DKK 100,000. For complaints regarding clothing and shoes, the minimum amount is DKK 720. A fee is charged for complaint processing.

When shopping at an e-mark certified webshop, you may have your case processed free of charge by e-mærket, regardless of the amount involved. Read more here.

If you reside in another EU country than Denmark, you may submit a complaint through the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution portal:

We require the following information when you shop with us:

We register and disclose the personal data necessary to deliver the item to you.

The personal data is registered with the company and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

We also cooperate with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We only cooperate with data processors within the EU or in countries that provide adequate protection for your information.

If you believe the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it.
